jeroen lievens

biography

jeroen Dr. Jeroen Lievens holds an M.A. in English and Comparative Literature from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) and a Ph.D. in American Literature from Ghent University (2006). His dissertation, which he wrote as a fellow researcher at GUST, is entitled “The City in Postmodern Fiction. Contemporary Urban Studies and the Case of the New Narratives”. Currently, he is teaching at the Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg. His publications deal primarily with the literary representations of space and the city in the era of postmodernity and postmodernism.
